Diseñado y creado para sobrepasar los límites naturales de un vehículo de sus características, el nuevo Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody es el sedán familiar más potente y veloz del mundo
Impulsado por el motor HEMI Hellcat V-8 surpercharged de 6.2 litros que entrega una potencia de 717 caballos de fuerza y 880 Nm de par, cifras líderes en su clase. Esta imponente mecánica está asociada a una transmisión automática TorqueFlite de 8 velocidades y en su conjunto permiten al modelo alcanzar los 315 km/h.
El paquete Widebody ofrece un moderno y agresivo exterior de serie en el Charger SRT Hellcat y como opción en el Charger Scat Pack, en el que destacan las nuevas prominencias delanteras y trasera, así como unas nuevas aletas que contribuyen a incrementar el ancho de la carrocería en 88 mm. El paquete Widebody cuenta además con llantas de 20×11 pulgadas, neumáticos Pirelli más anchos con medidas 305/35ZR20, frenos delanteros Brembo con pinzas de seis pistones, y un ajuste de la suspensión único con sistema de amortiguación adaptativa Bilstein con tres modos.
Los modos SRT Drive ofrecen los ajustes prestablecidos Street (Auto) para la calle, Sport y Track, mientras que el modo Custom permite a los propietarios configurar y seleccionar sus preferencias individuales
El modelo incorpora cuatro tecnologías de serie inspiradas en el mundo de las carreras que también refuerzan el rendimiento:
Race Cooldown – Esta tecnología sigue enfriando el supercargador y la carga de aire después de que el motor se haya apagado haciendo funcionar la bomba del intercooler y el ventilador del radiador

El Charger Scat Pack Widebody cuenta con un motor V8 HEMI con 495 CV de potencia que también tiene acoplada una caja de cambios automática de TorqueFlite de 8 velocidades
El nuevo Scat Pack Widebody pasa de 0 a 100 km/h en 4.4 segundos, recorre el cuarto de milla en 12.4 segundos y es 1.3 segundos más rápido que el Scat Pack convencional en una vuelta a un circuito de carreras de 2.1 millas. Las tecnologías Launch Control, Launch Assist y Line Lock vienen de serie en todos los Scat Pack.
